The emptiest of places

I will always show you where to go. I'll give you a full life in the emptiest of places - firm muscles, strong bones. You'll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. Isaiah 58:11 The Message

Have you been there, in the emptiest of places?  I have. It is the place where you have the opportunity to meet God in a whole new way. It is the place where scriptures like 1 Corinthians 10:13 become a daily declaration ....

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down, He'll never let you be pushed past your limit, He'll always be there to help you through it.
1 Corinthians 10:13 The Message

It is a place where God's promises breathe life and hope into you. A place where every word that you read from His word carries truth, that you dare to claim over your life ....

God will always show Wendy where to go.
God will give me a full life in the emptiest of places.
I will be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry.

Maybe it is a timid declaration at first. But as faith rises in you it becomes louder and louder. Eventually speaking louder than your circumstances. The truth of God's word consumes your thinking, and you know that He has a plan and it is for good.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. " Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

And you begin to trust God at a whole new level ....

And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God's Word and the right of their necessity]. Psalm 9:10 AMP

Question for today, are you in one of those emptiest places today? If yes, why not stop, and ask Him to show you where to go. Ask your Heavenly Father to show you how to live a  full life now. And thank Him that you will be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry.

The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Isaiah 58:11 NLT
